Our walk-in policy, rates and spa hours also allow you to visit us and receive quality spa treatment at your convenience. We pride ourselves here at Daravadee Spa on the manner in which we listen and work with our clients in order to address your concerns and increase your awareness of the benefits of routine spa maintenance.

What to expect at Daravadee Spa

Cancellation Policy

Scheduled treatments are reserved especially for you. We require 24 hour advance notice in order to cancel any service with no charge. If your appointment is not cancelled within this notification period, your appointment is considered confirmed. Any changes or cancellations made after the 24 hour window are subject to a charge for each service. Because of this policy, a valid credit card number is required at time of booking. This policy also applies to gift card, certificate holders and on-line purchased vouchers.

Late Arrival

All spa appointments have been designed to allow appropriate time for full enjoyment of each service. Your late arrival may limit our ability to offer the fullest possible experience. Please be aware that late arrivals will not be afforded extension of scheduled treatments. Treatments will be rendered only for the remainder of the scheduled appointment and you will be responsible for payment for the full service.

Return Policy

Daravadee Spa does not offer refunds/ exchange on retail products, spa services or gift certificates. Once we have provided the service and/or sold the product to the customer, the sale is final, and Daravadee Spa will not provide refund of the price of the service and/or product that has been delivered/ sold to them. It is again reiterated that No REFUNDS ARE GIVEN OF ANY CASH OR KIND for any reason and all transactions are final. No refund will be given of the Price of the Services and/or Products even if the Customer is dissatisfied with the service and/or product for any reason. So before making the decision to purchase our service and/or product, Customers are advised to read and understand this no refund policy. This no refund policy is hereby communicated to Customers to prevent misunderstanding and disputes.

Health Conditions

Please advise us at time of booking of any health conditions, allergies, injuries or special needs which may affect your services.

Massage and Body Treatments

Please specify Therapist gender preferences at time of booking, otherwise the first available Therapist will assist you. You may consult with a spa concierge about style/ type of service. You may also inform the Therapist about depth of pressure prior to your service/ during the treatment of your service.


We have specially designed treatments for expectant mothers. A spa concierge is present to guide you in selecting appropriate treatments for you during this special time.


Keeping our commitment to cleanliness, safety and hygiene, our equipment is sterilized and sanitized after every service and and treatment.

Loss or Damage

We regret that we cannot be responsible for any loss or damage of personal items. We strongly recommend to leave any valubles and personal articles at home. All valuables brought to the spa should be kept with you at all times.


There is ample parking at Daravadee Spa. Parking spots are generally available in front of our location and also just around the corner inside Downey Plaza.


We accept payment in CASH. There will be a $2 charge for any credit/ debit card transaction. Payment for services must be made at our front desk prior receiving your service. Gift Cards must also be presented at time of check in at our front desk. We do not accept any personal or traveller's checks. Any gift cards, vouchers, or certificates must be mentioned at time of booking.

Meet and Greet

On your first visit to Daravadee Spa, you will be asked to provide information such as name, address, general health, physical conditions and any specific ailments you may have. It is best to arrive a few minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to check-in and complete this form and waiver at our front desk. Then, please have a seat and someone will greet you soon.

The Treatment Room

At your appointment time, you will be taken to your treatment room. This is an opportune time to discuss any special concerns or make any requests not yet communicated to the therapist. Please note, it is never appropriate to request any sensual or other equally inappropriate activity.

For body treatments, once in the room, disrobe to your level of comfort (hooks are provided to hang your clothes) and lie on the massage table face-down, on the top sheet, and cover yourself with the towel set-out for your benefit. During your massage session, you will always be draped with either the sheet or towel and an additional blanket is available at your request. Your massage therapist will only uncover the part of the body they are working on, ensuring that your modesty is respected at all times. Once lie down, relax, settle in to the relaxing music, tranquil environment and prepare your mind for the treatment. Your massage therapist will give you a few minutes for this process and will knock on the door to ask if you are ready before entering your room. Just say “come-in” and your experience continues on its way.

The Treatment

Before beginning the session, your therapist will confirm with you the style and length of time scheduled. Your therapist will also ask you to alert them if, at any time during the session, a pressure, technique or stroke they are using is uncomfortable. Depending on your specific needs or requests, your massage therapist will either perform a customized full-body massage (for general relaxation and stress reduction) or focus on the specific parts of your body that you have requested.

Once your massage therapy session is completed, your therapist will leave the room so you may re-dress. Relax for a moment, get dressed and your therapist will meet you in the reception lounge with a warm cup of tea and light snack. At Daravadee Spa, we serve you the hightest quality tea, that is not only good to your taste but also good for your health. Our tea products are 100% natural, contain high antioxidant properties and many health benefits. You will enjoy the delightful flavor of our tea as it calms, refreshes and warms you as you depart.

Providing feedback is important to ensure the therapist exceeds your expectations (“one size” does not”fit-all”). If you enjoyed your visit with us, we encourage you to review us on Yelp, tell your friends and family and perhaps bring someone with you on your next visit. Spa Etiquettes:

  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes early in order to unwind before treatment and have a proper consultation.
  • Our massage therapy sessions time includes a 5 minute pre-interview and 5 minutes at the end for you to re-dress.
  • Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellation in order for others opportunity to enjoy treatments as well.
  • Avoid eating a big meal at least one hour before treatment to allow maximum healing benefits.
  • Liquids are important after a massage as they assist in removing the toxins from your body.
  • To fully relax and promote a healing environment, please turn off your mobile phone.
  • After your treatment, be sure to take plenty of room-temperature water to help with detoxification. You may feel some soreness or discomfort for the first 24 hours, especially in areas where you have had problems. After that, you should feel relaxed and refreshed!
  • Gratuity is customary for massage and other spa services. The industry standard is 15-20%. Should you wish to express your gratitude for your satisfaction of excellent service that meets or exceeds expectation, kindly feel free to do so. These go directly to your therapist. Gratuity in cash is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
